Dr. Claudio Trindade is an Anterior Segment specialist, based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. His practice focuses on complex corneal and cataract surgery. Passionate about Innovations and critical thinking, Dr. Trindade has become world renowned for his pioneering work with pinhole optics. He received several awards in 4 continents around the globe, including the coveted Innovator of the Year Award, by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is the youngest ever Ophthalmologist to win the prestigious ASCRS Grand Prize. Dr. Trindade is actively engaged in both research and medical education on a national and international scale.
