Dr. Mohamed S. Sayed, MD is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and Glaucoma Specialist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, specializing in advanced glaucoma and cataract surgery. He completed his medical education at Alexandria Faculty of Medicine, ophthalmology residency training through the Joint Residency Program of the Western Region, Saudi Arabia, graduate studies at Harvard University, and fellowship training in glaucoma and pediatric ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami. Dr. Sayed previously served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and led the Glaucoma Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and his research focuses on glaucoma surgery, laser therapies, artificial intelligence, and clinical outcomes. He is the recipient of the American Glaucoma Society MAPS Award and currently serves as Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Training Program at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi
