Anna A. Plyukhova, MD, PhD, Professor
Anna Anatolyevna Plyukhova is Deputy Director for Science and Head of the Department of Retinal and Optic Nerve Pathology at the Krasnov Research Institute of Eye Diseases (NIIGB), Moscow. A professor of ophthalmology, she specializes in retinal disease, with a particular focus on diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
She played a key role in developing the institute’s protocol for anti-VEGF therapy administration and has taken part in international multicenter research studies, alongside institutional science strategy and conference organization.
