Biography
Dr. Vasily D. Yartsev, MD, PhD, is a Leading Researcher at the Department of Lacrimal Apparatus Pathology and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology. He is an ophthalmologist and ENT surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of lacrimal apparatus diseases.
Dr. Yartsev has authored more than 100 scientific publications and holds over 15 Russian patents. His research focuses on lacrimal drainage diagnostics, minimally invasive surgical treatment of lacrimal stenosis, endoscopic interventions, and secondary lacrimal drainage complications. He has completed advanced training at LV Prasad Eye Institute in India and the University Hospitals of Cologne and Ulm in Germany. He is a member of the Russian Ophthalmological Society, European Rhinological Society, and ESOPRS.
