Prof. Quan Dong Nguyen, MD, MSc, FAAO, FARVO, FASRS is Professor of Ophthalmology at the Byers Eye Institute and Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Nguyen serves as principal investigator on multiple clinical trials focused on retinal vascular diseases, age-related macular degeneration, and ocular inflammatory diseases. He has published more than 500 scientific manuscripts, is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports, and is one of the founders of the Society for Artificial Intelligence in Vision and Ophthalmology (SAIVO). He currently serves as President of the International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS) and continues his clinical practice, research, and teaching at Stanford University.
